CGP Ep322 Athlete: Understanding & Managing Injury

If you are an athlete, injuries are inevitable. You may feel invincible but there is an injury in the mail, it just hasn’t reached you yet! If you want to minimize the affect of your injuries you need to truly understand what your injury is, how to treat it and when to return to battle. Once you understand what the injury is, you can decide the best way to treat it. Do you need a chiropractor, physiotherapist or a bag of ice? Should you rest it or move it? Should you suck it up or wait to play another day? Rarely is the injury what sidelines an athlete, it’s the mismanagement of that injury. This episode is your injury reference guide that will help you through any athletic injury and help you get back in the game faster and stronger than you were before.
